Nothing into Nothing: looking for my voice

These were the revisions I went through in making the final poem above. I was looking for a voice to put things in, or a way to say how I felt today. Very muddled. A very odd day in Anime Club. Everything emotional was inside. As my friends say, "Under a thick purple layer of humor."

I've lied
a thousand or more times
I've certainly failed
More times than I would have liked.

And these walls
Could tell a thousand tales
But I'd never miss

If I could honestly go back in time
I'd go back to when you were mine
I'd have you tightly incurrently thinking about helping you
